Enlightened about Love
Dr. Nour has created a roadmap, a direction finder and a compass to understanding the most complex of
human emotions. Beginning with the ancient Egyptian antiquity vase and the explanation of the poem we begin
our journey with a clear understanding that love transcends age, time, social demographics and culture. This book is
a treasure I intend to give many of the women I sponsor in addiction and alcohol recovery because love is a powerfully
alluring and addictive substance . An insightful and compelling book about the most complex emotion.
Beautifully crafted by an amazing doctor.

easy, conversational tone..a scintillating read.
“My initial reaction to True Love was that it would be written like a doctoral thesis with scientific terms and talk of brain chemicals that would bore me silly. There is nothing boring about it. This is not to say that Dr. Nour takes the romance and mystery out of the act of falling in love. Dr. Nour writes in an easy, conversational tone and his subject matter is absolutely fascinating. Anyone who’s been in love, has fallen out of love and/or is looking for love will find Dr. Nour’s True Love a scintillating read.”

Well Written, Informative, and Fun to Read
“In True Love, Dr. Nour takes our understanding of this mysterious and universally important subject to a deeper level. He explains the complex neuroanatomy and neurochemistry involved in the stages of love in clear prose and understandable analogies. Even I, a neurosurgeon who has spent much of my career looking at brains, learned a lot. This is an informative and fun read for anyone who has ever experienced the madness of love or hopes to one day. Perhaps by introducing the realism of science into Hollywood fantasy of romance, he will help more couples achieve True Love”

The Power to Inspire
“With more than 30 years of experience as a neurologist and a researcher, I can say without hesitation that True Love is the most comprehensive and effective life skills book I have ever seen. If you are interested in understanding the reality of love, I strongly recommend this book for you. It is simple, enchanting and educational, yet has the power to inspire and transform attitudes and behaviors. From the outset, readers are encouraged to understand facts and apply them directly to their own lives, and in doingso, can grasp seemingly complex medical concepts. The language spoken allows any individual to integrate learning and develop an enquiring mind with great self-reflection. This sets the scene for them to become in charge of their own love lives with the potential to achieve true everlasting love.”

As a neuroscientist and clinician, I find Dr. Nour’s eloquent description of one of the most treasured emotions and behaviors in human life absolutely captivating and informative. The author fully utilizes his knowledge, experience, and passionate writing style to present the scientific facts of love in its various phases and offer valuable practical advice to all who have experienced the feelings of love. This book is interesting and easy to read and I highly recommend it to all my friends.”
